The 8-th of March is International Women's Day! It's one of the most important holidays in the Ukraine, a celebration of spring and appreciation of all women. It could be considered as a combination of Valentine's Day and Mother's Day in the West but is of more importance here! This is a national holiday and a day off. Several countries celebrate this day, but only a few acknowledge it as an official, non-working holiday.
